Aimed at the consummate hunter, the Styrling Longbolt is a straight-pull bolt-action that fires punishing, high caliber rounds ideal against big game. Though labeled as a sport and hunting rifle, the high caliber punch and generally excellent accuracy has made it a favorite among less competitively-minded marksmen. Unfortunately, the weapon suffers from heavy weight, making it tiresome to carry for some people, and high recoil, though the latter is offset by the bolt action system, which makes rapid follow-up shots impossible in the first place.

Straight Bolt Action
Straight bolt action requires pulling back on the bolt, situated on the top rear of the firearm with a bar jutting sideways for easy pulling, to discard the casing from the old round and rechamber a new one. Rounds are fed from an integrated magazine about an inch in front of the trigger guard. Because of the nature of the magazine, the weapon can only be reloaded manually, or with the assistance of clips.
