History
Introduced in late YE 41 and first issued early YE 42. The Night Guard Boots replaced standard issue work boots that lacked adequate protection. The new boots were designed to provide enhanced protection and support. Over the years, improvements have included better sole grip, ankle support, and lightweight materials.
Design
The Night Guard Boots are made from high-durability leather and feature steel toe caps for protection. The soles are designed with a non-slip grip, and the boots have reinforced ankle support1). The boots are available in black and are designed to be both durable and comfortable for extended wear.
Usage
The boots are a mandatory part of the Night Guard uniform and should be laced up securely before each shift. Ensure the steel toe caps are not damaged before use. To clean the boots, wipe with a damp cloth and use leather conditioner as needed. The soles can be scrubbed with a brush to remove debris.
