Although some elements of Star Army's lore have been pulled from earlier times as early as 1996, the year 2000 was the year that really started Star Army. It was the year Wes joined the Army and the year Wes discovered online roleplaying and Ayenee. It was also the year that Wes created Ketsurui Yui, the first Nekovalkyrja, originally to serve as the mascot for the anime club he created with his high school friends.
