This page is a hub for the development of wiki articles for the New Dusk Conclave.

These are pages that the NDC wants or needs to have created. Articles should remain in the wip:faction:ndc: space until they've been reviewed by a Faction Manager and approved by the NTSE.

When working on articles, please keep the following in mind:

• Similar power, unique take - The NDC doesn't need to be stronger, just have our own unique identity.
• Look and feel - NDC has a covert ops aesthetic. We can drive this home with our tech prose, models, and overall identity
• Roleplay implications - We're not making these things for the sake of making them, but so that we and others can 'live in them'. What does it feel like to use this? What are the things characters would interact with? How does it affect their lives/actions? What small things can they do with it?
• Avoid technobabble - Use footnotes/glossary links/external links to summarize complicated concepts for people who want to learn more. Focus on using tech for flavor and expanding the RP implications. An average player should be able to quickly and easily read an article to understand what they can and can't do with it.
• Faction-appropriate Names - The NDC's naming scheme is primarily ghost and death-related, owing to its origin as a covert ops group. To make this easier, we maintain a list of Name Suggestions. Feel free to add and claim from the list.
• Have a plan - Articles should be made to support our roleplay activities or expand the NDC's setting. We should avoid spamming the NTSE with articles that we don't have immediate plans for. Let's also try to maintain a good mix of articles that expand the NDC's setting (culture, government, civilian life, etc) and expand the NDC's military (new guns, ships, etc).

• Make sure all article titles include what they are. For example, the “P50 Spooky Ghost” should be the “P50 Spooky Ghost Anti-Personnel Pistol”. Much easier for browsing!

• Weapons (not limited by tier, but by purpose - unless it's a really special weapon. Where possible, this would just be updates to existing weapons tech)
• FTL Tech (Falcon tunnel is cool, but slower than civilian options. Could just be an update to the original Falcon Tunnel if we want to keep doing wormholes)
• Escape pods
• Boarding/Landing pods
• Sensor package
• Generally things that allow us to make ships easier

• (Whisper) Heavy Anti-Mecha(Noval's Throne? Other?)

• Light Anti-Starship (Erebus-class Missile Frigate and its sister ships?)

Ideas that aren't planned to be used in the future, but still retain their articles.
